Remember Mr. Napkinman from "THE HOLIDAY" - the show starring Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jude Black? Well, Mr. Napkinman is here in Singapore too!

WE DID IT!! (be warned that this's a super long post)

I LOVE my FYP group! Love you Serene and Jiali! You both have been great teammates and friends! All the nights spent on this FYP - whether it's on SCWO or something else, have been worth it!

For those who don't know what great things we've done, let me share with you...

We started this project in December from scratch - and somewhat disheartened from the hiccups we've met along the way.

It was a meeting with the manager of SCWO (Singapore Council of Women's Organisation) on what they intended to do.

After which, off we go with 3 days of coming out with, carrying out and compiling the survey results. More ideas were thought up of to beef up the plan, and viola~ a presentation to the rest of the committee a week later.

We came up with the logo design and the concept behind the whole campaign...


And the media kit to pitch to sponsors and advertisers...

After which, we came out with the tickets...

And the poster...

And e-banner...


How can I leave out the handy guide... distributed at all Giordano, Amore and Cafe Cartel outlets?

Meanwhile, we held a Photo Contest. Do check them out at http://scwoiwd2007.blogspot.com! There're some really beautiful pictures there!

Happy New Year Pull Your Ear!!

I know this has been a long over due post!

Well, better late than never. Here are some ramblings on what I did on the first day of Chinese New Year!

Sadly, my Doggie year has gone, and it's now my Goddess' Piggy Year! As usual, my Goddess decked me up prettily in my favourite blue kimono.

When they were about to leave, I begged desperately for her to bring me along.

Finally she relented and yeah! I'm on my way to receive ang pows too!!

But after the first stop, I was already damn shagged. So I slept like a pig on the way to the 2nd house.

Our last stop was to our cafe to get somethings. I'm still very tired!

Happy Valentine's Day

I had an FYP meeting on February 14 and it ended only at 8.30pm!! Luckily Bubu came to meet me at Bugis. However, as it was so late after I went to run some errand (change the crumpler bag I bought for him from brown to green), Magic Wok was closed already. So we walked towards Bugis to find ourselves some place to eat. Luckily for us, there was this hawker place which sells really affordable and nice food. So we got ourselves XO Sliced Fish Noodle, Frog Porridge and Sambal Stingray. The Stingray and porridge is really yummy! Especially the stingray - recommended for those who like spicy food! Didn't really like Fish Noodle though cos I don't like the taste of XO. *bleah*

A giant feast!

I was super full by the end of dinner. So we made our way to Bugis to catch a train back. On our way, we passed by this Goldheart Romance promotion at Bugis Junction. They had a mini garden decorated with lots of big roses. Initially I thought the roses were fake cos they were too big to be real. Bubu even plucked out one for fun. But on putting it back, we realised it's actually real cos of the water in the pot. Then Bubu really plucked out one for me!

See, the rose looked too big to be real huh?

Happy Birthday to me

I've grown yet another year! This year's birthday celebration is a simple one. Yesterday, Freddie and I went to watch the movie "Happy Birthday". It's a really touching love story. Highly encouraged for those who like sappy love stories...

Most importantly, I like its poster design - simple yet elegant..

I had a simple dinner affair with my family members the night before. Everyone was present - my sister, my brother-in-law, my brother and his girlfriend, my parents and Freddie. It feels so great to have your loved ones being with you on such a beautiful day. It's been a long time since we've all gathered together as a family for dinner. So I really cherished that night and appreciate Freddie for his dinner treat.


Also, something to update everyone about. Freddie and I just celebrated our 3 years anniversary a week or so ago! Can't believe that we've been together for that long! However, what I can say that is that my feelings towards him has only grown stronger and stronger over the years, due to all the things that we've been through together.

Well, we went to my friend's cafe Abof for dinner. The ambience there is really nice, and so is the food. After which we had some Jap green tea ice-cream from Marina Square. Tasted yummy too!

I Miss My Goddess

Gangsta Goddess

I mentioned last night that my Goddess went to get a haircut yesterday right? I missed out the most important profile - the side view. It looks so chio! She looked like a gangster right?

But I missed her long hair too...




It used to be so long... OMG, all the years of patience snipped off just like that...  

New Year New Look II

Besides getting myself a new haircut, my Goddess and the Horny Devil also went for a haircut to prepare themselves for a fresh new start - a new school term!

And boy was it a CUT for them for they had really different looks, just like me! If you don't believe me, you can see for yourself!

It's been sometime since my Goddess had short hair. It would take another few years for her to get back her hair to the same length. Gosh... But I must admit the Horny Devil does look more 'shuai' with his new hairdo! Punk! I like!!

My Goddess was on her way out. I thought she is going out to have some fun without me, so I followed her, all excited!

Who knows she is on her way to run, and that she ran a longer route than usual. It was too late by the time i realised. We had already gone too far and I didn't know how to go back. I had to follow my dear Goddess.

I was totally shagged out by the time we reach home. Do you know how tiring it was? Especially for someone who hasn't run for like almost half a year?!?

In order to embrace the new year, I got myself a new haircut! And my new year resolution is - to be a better bitch!
