Christmas Grouch

My Goddess is beginning to be a Christmas Grouch. And it's all because of the workload she faces during the Christmas period. There'll be the press release to write, media to pitch, media enquries to answer, charity requests and last but not least complaints from irritating shoppers.

To perk her mood up, she went to buy some Christmas decorations to dress up her work station.

Here it is...

And it did perk her up a little.

On a side note, my Goddess went to the Centrepoint character show. It was super duper cute! Love the soft toy! And the cute calendar and umbrella! Will a kind soul get the calendar and soft toy for her!

Artsy Fartsy!

My Goddess went for her first Biennale last weekend and it was really fun and interesting! Check out all the unique artwork that my Goddess encountered...

This artwork shows a happy face on the surface, but upon entering the 2 different coloured box, a different story is told

Having fun at the kids biennale

Having more fun at the kids biennale

Disgusting maggots that look quite cute and like a fish

These gourds were shaped into faces

A Google Earth Singapore map

A little message on one part of the map - inspired by my favourite HK drama: Femme Desperado

An artwork made of paint, literally

An video about people waiting at the bus stop. You literally feel like you're waiting with them. Where's the bus??

Merdeka Malaysia!

Aliens attack!

An eerie video that shows a once popular Bangkok hotel, but now abandoned. There's even an eerie light hanging down

Beautiful flowers that coloured in the front and black at the back

See the bold coloured images. They look like 3D images don't they? They are actually carved into the wall. Amazing!

One of my Goddess' favourite artwork is this burning room. It is a pitch black room, with structures of a human figure, bed frames, scooter, stool etc., all made of charcoal. There is a light flashing red and orange lights that fills up the whole room, and a siren sound sounding non-stop. It really makes you feel like you are in a burning house and is really eerie and scary. The videos attached are must-watch!

A hilarious family portrait

This artwork shows a lady's hair flowing in the wind by just using simple machine that makes the 2 structures go ticking round and round.

A closer look at the water drops

The next exhibition centre is made of container tanks! Can you belive that? That's truly recycling.

A whole grass patch filled with slippers worn by ex-convicts

A dark room that uses light as a tool to create art

A really cool impression of how winter will look like in Singapore. Furthermore, it's inside this igloo looking structure. If only the place has aircon.

Fog attack!

The Horny Devil is just like a kid playing happily in the fog!

A stretched lady in a beautiful red dress

The underneath of her dress looks even prettier!

I can totally relate to how she feels - totally overstretched

The private moon that lights up at night

A seemingly harmless hair salon

A closer look

But the mirror doesn't exist! My Goddess other favourite artwork

Another eerie artwork. Imagine the South Beach Developement is already a very old and scary place by itself, enough to play fright night, what more with this self-swinging swing

An old man surrounded by soap

All made up of recycling material

A floating meteorite!

This is another eerie artwork, with videos shown against a crater made of sand

The other side of the room - seems like the man is trapped in a sand dune

Overall, my Goddess and the Horny Devil had lots of fun at the Biennale, though they were super shagged! can you imagine they started viewing the artworks from 1pm but only ended at 8pm? Can't wait for the next Biennale to come!
