I Just Mastered the Art of Photoshopping!

Woohoo! I just mastered a new technique today! It's a series of tools to help enhance the photo - slim where it's supposed to be, and protruding where needed. I no longer need to rely on cloning already! Just need to use a mixture of liquifying, cloning, dodging and burning. Though it's not perfect, I'm happy with the effects. Pictures these days are a whole bunch of lies right? Don't ever believe in those slimming ads unless you see the person in person!

Noticed the difference?

Now who needs help with their pictures?

My Goddess (Wedding) Diary

Today is another pocket burning day for my Goddess. The Horny Devil and her went to confirm her wedding dinner.

Signing of contract - there's no turning back now!

There goes another cheque issued

And the location? None other than her dream wedding place...

This was the first hotel that they checked out. My Goddess loved it for its magical exterior, just like a fairytale love story.

Furthermore, the solemnisation will also be held by the poolside. Just what she's looking for!

And the date - 22 May 2011. So for those who know that you'll be invited, please start saving up now.

p/s Wedding rates for a 5* hotel are at least $120 per pax now, FYI.

Pokka Elder Flower Tea

The Horny Devil bought a drink for my Goddess to drink cos' she was thirsty. And guess what miracle drink did they choose?

On a serious note, Elderflower does not make you look elderly after drinking.

Elderflower, on the other hand, is a bitter, pungent, cooling herb. The flowers and fruits are used to lower fever, reduce inflammation, soothe irritation and have a diuretic and anti-mucus effect, while the leaves are insecticidal.

There you have it! The interesting Pokka Elderflower Tea!

Miss Saigon

Last week, my Goddess headed down to Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City for another work trip.

Can you see where's her flight details?

Look at the crowd at the airport! Think everyone's back for their 'Tet' - Chinese New Year in Vietnamese.

My Goddess was hungry. So after visiting the supermarket, it was supper time at a cafe!

Her room where she stayed for 3 nights

Breakfast next day had the same offerings since its the same hotel.

Before her work, she had some time to visit Benh Thanh Market, the tourist must-visit!

Look at how big the prawns are!

Went passed a nail place, and so had time to do some quick and cheap mani and pedi which cost her about SGD13 for nail art and filing!!

At night, while they went around looking for a place to have dinner, they saw some nice CNY decorations along the streets.

Dinner was at this quaint French restaurant. Yums!

Western breakfast of pancake and eggs the next morning.

In between work, they had time for lunch at Hotel Renaissance. They went to the highest floor and had a magnificent view of Saigon.

At night - Tiger Translate event and the launch of the Limited Edition bottle. The crowd was really high when the first band played.

Some cam-whoring

Luckily for my Goddess, she had some time to do some shopping in between, and managed to find these good bargains for Paper Polly!

And all her shopping finds!

JB Trip

On 29 Jan, my Goddess and the Horny Devil went on a JB trip with their friends. 10 of them took a chartered mini-bus.

Of course, how can one forget the yummy breakfast in the morn at their markets?

Then they headed for Go-Kart. Don't they all look like factory workers?

Finally, a more decent shot of the group.

Next, it was paint-ball! My Goddess, being easily bruised, opted out of the game in case she kena bruised again.

The Horny Devil, worries to get paint on his hair wore the same shower cap to the game. Don't you think he looks like the Octopus from Spongebob, Squidward?

My Goddess having a shot at the heavy gun

Luckily my Goddess didn't play paintball. One of the girls got hit and look how big the bruise has become? Scary..

After washing up, it was time for some photo-taking fun!

Then it was lunch at a Jap restuarant.

And some shopping! Though there wasn't anything much to buy..

More B'day Celebrations

Didn't know there is a cheap and good western food near our place at Railway Mall until my Goddess had dinner with her colleagues there. The place is called Hook, a cheaper version of Fish n Co.

The food looks good, is cheap and tastes not bad too!

Prawn Bisque Soup

Otah Baguette

Fish Pasta
