Closing one chapter of my life

Today is the last day of work for my Goddess. Time flies, it has been almost 2 years since she started her first proper work.

Along the way, there were tears and sweat of hardwork, joys of the fruits of labour, friendships forged and enemies made.

Work also made my Goddess realise that it is not everything. There's still more to it like me time, exercise time, Freddie's time and family time and winnie's time. You can do so much, but at the end of the day, it will still be just work. What's more important are your values and what you hold most dearest to you.

There was a farewell drinks session that night. Many people attended, including my Goddess' boss and her agency people. The FC and Asset Manager wanted to come initially. My Goddess was truly touched that she has made a difference to these people's lives, which is why they cared for her and went for her farewell drinks.

Anyway, my Goddess is looking forward to her short getaway to Penang before she starts the next chapter of her life on Wednesday. Keep a look out for an exciting account of her getaway!
