Wedding Preparations

Now that my Goddess' housing loan ordeal is finally over, the Horny Devil and her can move on to the next step of their wedding planning - looking for a wedding venue!

Their first stop - Goodwood Park.

My Goddess liked the hotel for their rustic, country-liked exterior.

The grand ballroom

What my Goddess liked about the ballroom is that it's a cosy size that can hold the number of tables they are looking at without looking too cramp or empty. And that it is in a hexagonal shape, so the area is made more inclusive.

There are also 4 projector screens altogether so that all video images will not be blocked and small for guests to view

My Goddess like the big and cosy reception area too

The reception area can even extend to the other side of the staircase, which can also be decorated!

However, there are several things she didn't like about Goodwood Park:

  1. The bridal suite is apparently small, according to forumers, and has no good view.
  2. There are no rooms for negotiation, e.g. more complimentary carpark lots, no complimentary solemnisation venue - my Goddess really liked the poolside as the solemnisastion venue!

So if all the GST, service charge and miscellenous extra charges, it may not be worth it with no extra negotiations.

Meanwhile, the two lovebirds also dropped by Ion to check out their Jewellery Street for wedding bands.

My Goddess loved this the most! Not because it is the most expensive of the lot, but don't you think it just looks fabulous? And the service there was good too!

And this is just the beginning of their wedding preparations. There will be more to come as they visit more hotels and wedding shows and preparing for all the nitty gritty staffs like wedding favours, wedding invites etc. And also the most important part of choosing the gown and wedding shoot! OMG, there's so much things to do. And most most importantly, they haven't settled the ever so important date. Now where should they start with so much things to do...
