One Year Part Three - The Finale

Half a year back, I wrote about my Goddess and the Horny Devil's anniversary celebrations. Yes, that's how belated it is. In August last year, they did the finale of their 1 year anniversary celebration. It was a surprise planned for her. After a friend's wedding dinner, he told her they are going for a 1-day getaway, and asked her to have prepared her swimsuit. In her mind she was already prepared for Pulau Ubin stay.

And then, they reached MBS!

He had booked a one-night stay for them there.

While waiting for the room to be ready, they visited the Art Science Museum.

Coincidentally they had this interactive plate baking session open for the public. And so they began to draw anniversary presents for each other.

Very interestingly, the placed the plate which was about palm sized into a normal toaster - those that you use to toast your bread.

When in contact with extreme heat, it wrinkles and shrinks up.

And it's now half the size, and the colours more vivid.

Then it was the Harry Potter exhibition.

They weren't Harry Potter fans so the exhibit was so-so to them. In fact, when my Goddess was playing Quidditch, my Goddess broke her nails!

After the exhibition, they went up to their room.

And they tried the magic jelly beans that cost $6 per box! Total rip-off!

This was the vomit flavour, which was the most disgusting flavour of the lot

Then dinner was at Ku De Ta.

The food was so-so, not as fantastic as the many positive reviews says it should be. Expensive and very little portion.

After dinner was pool time!

The water was cold at night! They took a while to get used to it and into the water.

The lobby was quite a sight. Looks like it's taken out of some sci-fi film.

Next morning was more pool soaking time - to make their money's worth

The Horny Devil had fun 'destroying' his office on a Monday morning.

They only realised they were jacuzzi pools at the other side when they were leaving.

And they also made use of the hot steam and 'hot spring' room facilities.

Brunch was then at the food court after checking out, and after the super ex dinner they had last night. It was time to save some money.

Then they headed to the Marina Gardens by the Bay. Thier first again.

They only paid for the sky garden walk as they wanted to wait to bring their parents for the dome visits.

The Horny Devil chose to take the stairs instead of the lift up to the top

The weather was so hot they had to stop for an ice-cream/ ice-cream float break at Texas. The coke float was not as tasty as the A&W Root Beer float though :(

And so, they've conquered the two new places as if they were tourists. No overseas trip for their first year, but the feel was almost there. Good try, Horny Devil!
