Hong Kong Hong Kong Day 4 - Giant Buddha and Last Minute Shopping

Day 4 in HK. Realised my Goddess is rather reluctant to let me complete her adventures in HK as this will mark the end of her fun in HK but remind her of the real life she must face up to for some time now before she goes for her next adventure.

How can one go to HK but not eat their dim sums?

After breakfast, a trip to Lantau Island to visit the Giant Buddha.

The last day is a really rushed day for they have not done much shopping the past few days. As such, from 2pm to 4pm, their mission now is to go to the warehouse centre and back to 'Ugly' Centre to shop!

For those who didn't catch it, our next task is to go to Ugly Centre to get something beautiful.

Unfortunately for my Goddess, there were 2 recommended warehouses at Lai Chi Kok to visit where they sell clothes at really cheap price, but they were closed on Sundays! Luckily for them though, the Adidas outlet is still opened, and both my Goddess and the Horny Devil managed to get several really good bargains there!

Next stop: Arglye Centre

At Arglye, there is this really popular eatery selling Jap-like cold noodles. You can select the food that you want to go with your noodle.

There is another popular eatery called Happy Lemon where they sell Lemon drinks with jelly, pudding etc.

After much squeezing with the horrendous crowd, my Goddess managed to buy some cardigans and belt. But her shopping finds were quite disappointing! There were just too little time to squeeze through the huge mall and horrendous crowd. They should have shopped on the first day and visit the Orchard Road on their last.

It was quite a mad rush back to the hotel, really Amazing Race style. Luckily for my Goddess and the Horny Devil, they have been through almost any kind of travelling situations in the States, and they managed to go through the race in a breeze.
