Engagement Shoot

After a long break, I'm back! The long silence was cos my Goddess was so busy for the past few months! First there was annual report to rush, and Paper Polly to manage, and then there's also wedding to prepare.. It's so tough for my poor Goddess now.

So now let me update you on my Goddess' life, or should I say wedding preps.

First and most importantly, there was the Engagement Photoshoot.
Weeks before the shoot itself, they headed back NTU to do some site-recce.


Found some nice greenery, especially the stretch of long road with trees lined at the sides - very Korean style! But sadly, due to time constraint, they didn't have a chance to take at this location.


You also didn't know NTU have such greenery right?

 Then of course, how can they miss out this blue fish tank?

And the location which they spent most their time on.

The canteen seemed like quite a nice place too. Again, the location was not used.

And finally the classic LWN library and newly built and scenic SADM.

A few days before the actual shoot was the trial make-up session.


The Horny Devil brought all his shirts along to see which can be matched with the suits he chose

Days before the shoot itself, the weather was really erratic! It was like sunny and hot all the way, which was very unusual for the December period. And the weather forecast stated that it will rain the day on the photoshoot!
So to play it safe, my Goddess decided to do what she usually do the night before major outdoor events that needs total sunshine - put chillis at the location!

The Horny Devil went down with her and they only reached home close to 1am and slept at 2 after all the packing.

The next morning, they had to wake up at 7plus in order to have their breakfast and be present at the location at 9.30am.

The indoor shoot took so much longer than expected! They wanted to focus more on outdoor, and leave the studio by 2pm. But by the time they were done indoor, it was like 3+, and they only reached NTU at 4+!!

That leaves them only enough time for 4 places within NTU - SADM, SRC, LWN and Hall5.

 

And the chillis worked! It didn't rain till about 7plus, when they were done with SRC, and would be heading to LWN for indoor shoot next.
By the time they were done, it was already 8plus. After going back to the studio to return the gowns, they only had dinner at 9.
Luckily my Goddess' sister was there to help - change, take pictures, wipe perspiration and carry props. Otherwise my Goddess surely can't handle it alone.

Initially my Goddess was very worried about how the photos will turn out as they didn't do quite a few poses that they intended to. On the other hand, she was also worried that if all the pictures turn out well, they will have a hard time choosing, and will end up topping up a lot more for the photos.

In the end, her worst fears came through - the latter. Their photos turn out fantastic! And furthermore, cos my Goddess and the Horny Devil had a lot of ideas and props, they had so much different photos taken at different places that couldn't be rejected!!

In the end, they overspent their budget. But apparently, the designer was telling them that the price given is already very good as they have been given further discount based on the fact that their album will be used as sample album. While it's very pricey, it was also difficult to reject the pictures as they are all taken at different locations, and look so damn good, even before any touch-up was done.. RAAA!!!
