The Fierce Wife - I like!

My Goddess has been so bored recently. The Horny Devil's so busy with his work and upcoming exams. Luckily my Goddess found PPTV. And then she downloaded the show that she's so hot over now...

She and the Horny Devil spent the whole easter long weekend finishing up the whole series!! And after watching the show, she can only say "赞"! 

She first watched the show on Channel U and was hooked immediately for the following reasons:

1. The awesome plot.

The story is about the breakdown of a 10-year marriage. The husband got bored of his usual standard routine and fell in love with the wife's cousin. From guilt to lies to deception, the breaking point came when the wife found out about their relationship. Then came the impending divorce, the disappointment and finally the revenge to get her family back together. In between the show, there are loads of comical moments to relief the tension of the main story and some sweet romance by the wife and the new guy in her life "Mr Blue". And the ending of the show? You just gotta watch it for youself.

And in case you aren't aware, this is based on a true story...sobs..

2. The attractive cast.

Four models - Sonia Sui (wife), Wen Sheng Hao (husband), Janel Tsai (ex-girlfriend) and Patrick Li (brother-in-law & buddy). Amanda Zhu (the 小三) is also very cutesy and attractive in her own way. And then there's the silent suave man Chris Wang (aka Mr Blue). A Bao also caught my attention for being such a convincing and cute actress though only 4 years-old!

My Goddess also wants her daughter to be so pretty!

3. The subtle but convincing style of filming.

Wide angles against a beautiful backdrop that is open and never-ending symbolising the many answered questions and problems faced by the main characters. Jerky zoom-ins of the comic moments and their facial expressions. Even the zooming in of the hands of 微恩 when she slowly locked the master bedroom door all speaks something implicitly.

4. The touching songs that prick your heart and you will never get tired of hearing again and again.

After finishing the series, my Goddess went to Goggle on their NG scenes, the cast background etc. She even downloaded all the songs of the series! And she's a fan on their FB page too!

The good news from all the research work? They are now filming the sequel of the show into a movie - hopefully it will be brought into Singapore, if not my Goddess is going over to TW to catch it! Can't wait~
