Smokey eyeshadow

My Goddess is always awed by nice makeup, and especially now that she's on Pinterest, there's just so much inspiring makeup and pictures out there that she could pin and keep track of. Follow her on Pinterest if you are keen to find out her fave styles and what she pins.

Anyway, she was really mesmerized by one of the smokey eyes done. Being the experimental and adventurous her who always try to create different looks, she decided to try it out for herself at the company's D&D.

Isnt this just beautiful?
And so she did. Doesn't look as good as the picture though, but she's satisfied with the results. Furthermore she didn't have the exact colours - dark purple and white. Think she needs to get a white shadow one day - it's really useful to brighten up the eyes!

And making do with pink shimmery powder shadow, dark brown and black, here's the look she created.

This look, my Goddess feel must go with eyeliner. You need a really dark line to 'hold' the colours. Otherwise you will look like kena punched. Think my Goddess can go thicker on the liner in this case. But it's so hard to draw a proper line on yourself 'cos you can hardly see with half your eyes opened.

And so this is her final look one hour later.

My Goddess wanted to create this hair (again pinned on Pinterest) - but guess she's far from it. Think she may need another hour to TRY have the look.

Chio right?

Anyway, my Goddess loved the new lip colour that she's sporting. It's the Estee Lauder lipstick that she had won some time back from a Makeup Stash contest. The colour is peach/coral - very natural looking and suitable for smokey makeup that places heavy emphasis on the eyes.

Sadly, my Goddess didn't even win a single thing at the D&D. Guess she just doesn't have the luck :((
